Jason made HUGE progress today with his left hand - I was so excited! This morning he could not squeeze my hand and by this evening he could! I have watched him fight to get that movement back - he is so amazing and I am so proud that he did not give up. He had all sorts of therapy today - wore him out. He passed out right after. I am hoping tomorrow to take him outside. He will have to be in a wheel chair and wear his helmet but at least he will be able to get some fresh air.
We started signing his helmet today - it looks great and I am hoping the positive words will help him when he has to wear it.
No word yet on when he will have his next surgery I just keep getting told it is when his swelling goes down. I was told that his recovery will be much easier for that surgery - so at least some good news there.
I am going to call a couple cancer treatment centers tomorrow - wish me luck!
